I missed out on this snowball fight in DC today. It's not quite the magnitude of Virginia Tech's annual Civilian vs. Core snowball battle, but it still looks like fun. Even if a DC detective did show up with a gun.

Follow-up story on that said detective arrived with a gun because police had been called about a man in the snowball fight who had a gun . . .
That's awesome. I wish I'd gone to school far enough north for something like this tradition to arise. Everytime it snowed, while I was in undergrad, it either didn't stick or changed to rain right right as it started to stick.
